KALINKA is the third part of the Uppercut Dance Theatre trilogy WHAT WAS MUST DIE.

What happens when the pig throws off his mask, peels off his skin, and takes the stage all dressed up and ready to throw himself into the world power struggle with all the other pigs?

KALINKA is the third and final part of the Uppercut Dance Theatre trilogy WHAT WAS MUST DIE, with the works SAMBA, LIMBO and KALINKA about the relationship between body and space, individual and herd, with the pig as the lens. The animal, the pig - Pig - that we have followed in the trilogy, stands at the finish line. After a long journey through the pig trail of life, it's time to explore the pig within.

Pig has learned to navigate SAMBA's social arena, and has masted his way through LIMBO's inferno to now be swirled into KALINKA's Russian roulette
